Travelling Tales Light Art Storybook Project 2024-2025

  • About the Project:

    Travelling Tales combines real and imagined stories from across County Durham created by schools and community groups over 14 days of workshops. Eighteen different groups worked to create tiles for the project all based upon their experiences within Durham focusing upon what makes Durham, Durham to them. The tiles are displayed across four large-scale light art storybooks. The piece is touring Durham from November 2024 to March 2025. Travelling Tales was commissioned by Durham County Council as part of the community of light program funded by Arts Council England.
